A TYPICAL DAY AT ISC Paris

Wake up at 6:30, get ready and head out the door at 7:30.  My first class is usually at 8:00, but I live in a student residence close to school, about 5 minutes by foot.  I usually go a little early to have a coffee with my friends and the other members of my student junior enterprise.

A 2-hr break today for lunch.  A quick snack at the cafeteria and time to get some work done in my student enterprise - ISC Entreprise.  Today, the whole team is concentrating on the organization of our big party.

There's lots to do: reserve a venue, find sponsors, design the posters and have them printed, etc.  Good thing for us that the building stays open until 9:00 pm.  And a thank-you to some of our lecturers who are business professionals and give us precious advice and assistance for our association.

In the afternoon, I often have language classes, for me it's English and German.  This semester, I'm also taking a GMAT prep course to try to make it into one of ISC's partner MBA programmes.  The class is held on Friday evenings and ends at 8:00 pm.  A busy schedule but it's helped me to organize my work in the student junior enterprise, to set and meet deadlines, and to delegate !

On Thursday afternoons, no classes. This is the one time every week where the whole team of ISC Entreprise can work together on our projects.  One of the very many associations usually organizes a social activity in the cafeteria on Thursdays too.Our workdays at ISC are very full and we often end up prolonging the day right into the evening.  For example, tonight, Friday, after my GMAT class, I'm getting together with my partners for our monthly "communication dinner".  This informal format helps us to strengthen our links and exchange information in a more relaxed atmosphere.  Tomorrow is the ISC Network party.

This association is great for getting us odd jobs, sometimes useful at the end of the month!  So that leaves Sunday to catch up on some sleep, unless I decide to play in the football match organized by the Sports association…
